Golf Tournament, Friday, July 14, 11 a.m. Premier NCABA sponsor
is Asera Care Hospice of Altoona. For more information contact Jeff Lantzy at
948-8866 or Tim Whited at 948-7880. Requests to donate a sponsorship and/or
to enter a team can also be faxed to Jeff at 948-5667. We can invoice you. Tee
& Clubhouse sponsors are still needed!
-- NCABA Business Mixer, Friday, July 14, approx. 5 p.m. Immediately
following the golf tournament. All members, guests, and anyone interested in
the NCABA are invited to attend. Come and enjoy music by “Andy Lubert”.

NORTHERN CAMBRIA --
NCABA monthly meeting, Thursday, July 27, 8 a.m. at Tri-County
Transportation, Magnolia St., Northern Cambria. If you would be interested in
having a late afternoon meeting or would like to offer your space for a meeting,

Ebensburg
plans for Homecoming celebration
EBENSBURG

The 10 annual Ebensburg Homecoming celebration will be held this year on Saturday,
July 29th at Lake Rowena and in Downtown Ebensburg. A Homecoming Bazaar
will be held downtown from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and an Ebensburg Community Yard Sale
will also take place. A map of yard sale locations will be available one week
prior to the event, starting on July 24th, at the Ebensburg Borough Office and
on our web site at www.ebensburgmainstreet.com.
Maps will also be available at the Ebensburg Area Business Commission tent in
the First National Bank parking lot on July 29th.
-- “Homecoming is always the kickoff of our weekly farmers market in Ebensburg,”
said Christine Strugala, Community Development Director. “The market runs
all summer on Saturdays from 9am-noon, in the First National Bank parking lot,
through September 23rd.”
-- The band “Stillwater” will perform at Lake Rowena from 8pm-11pm
and there will be spectacular fireworks at dusk.
-- Additional events include a 5K race hosted by the Central Cambria Cross Country
Boosters. This is the second year for the race, which will incorporate the Ghost
Town Trail this year. The Young Peoples Community Center will also host the
2nd annual parent/child golf outing at Appledale Golf Course.
